Itinerary

On this day, when you reach Mumbai airport, you will be greeted by our Dream India Tours representative. After that, you will be transferred to the hotel and checked in at the hotel. After afternoon lunch, tour well-known locations like the Rajabai Clock Tower, the Gateway of India, Marine Drive, the Hanging Gardens, the Victoria Rail Terminus, Dhobi Ghat, and Mahalaxmi Temple.

Morning transfer to the airport, leave for Goa by flight, continue to Hubli by car, and check in at the hotel. The remainder of the day is free time. So that you can stroll through the neighbourhood's streets and sample the delectable street food, then return to the hotel for a relaxing night.

Today you will be transferred to Badami by car after having breakfast. Your afternoon will be busy at Badami Fort. It is renowned for its structural temples, such as the Bhutanatha Temples, Badami Shivalaya, and Jambukeshwara Temple, as well as its rock-cut monuments, such as the Badami Cave Temples. It is situated at the base of a rough, red sandstone outcrop that encircles Agastya Lake in a ravine.

In the morning, after breakfast, you're going to Pattadakkal and Ajhole. The largest temple, Virupaksheshvara, features a colossal doorway and numerous inscriptions. Pattadakal is a World Heritage site with ten important temples that showcase early Chalukyan architecture. The rest of the day is free for your leisure activities. 

Morning leave by car for Hospet, check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit to Hampi to view the ruins of Vijayanagar. UNESCO has recognized Hampi, a section of the Vijayanagara ruins, as a world heritage site. In middle Karnataka's eastern region is where Vijayanagara is located.

Drive from Hospet to Hassan and spend the day exploring there, including in-depth excursions to Belur and Halebid. The soft stone called chloritic schist was used to carve the temples at Belur and Halebid. It made it possible to create extremely fine details, as seen in the delicately carved temple walls. The sculptures in these temples exhibit the history of ivory and sandalwood handiwork.

After breakfast, leave for Mysore by car and visit the famous tourist attractions that fall en route, such as the Shravanabelagola, renowned for the 17m high statue of Lord Gomateshvara atop the Indragiri Hill. Arrive at Mysore and check in at the hotel. Your rest of the day is free for rest or some activities according to you.

On this day, after breakfast, drive to Chamundi Hill and the National Museum. Museum presently serves as a city landmark. The museum displays southern Indian plants, animals, and geology. Tipu Sultan Palace is a great historic site and one must not miss the guided tour of this extensive grand palace decorated with jaw-dropping details embedded in architecture and cravings. The exhibits illustrate the ecological interdependence of plants and animals while emphasising the preservation of nature and natural resources. The rest of the day is free.

Your morning will be busy checking out the hotel and leaving for Bangalore by car. Your Kochi transfer will be scheduled from Bangalore Airport. After arrival at Kochi check-in at the hotel for an overnight stay. 

The morning city tour of Kochi starts with visiting the Dutch Fort, the Jewish Synagogue, and the Chinese Fishing Nets. After a boat ride on the backwaters, go sightseeing in Kochi, including the renowned Mattancherry Palace, St. Francis Church, and the Jewish Synagogue. Spectacular Chinese fishing nets being lowered on the renowned Vasco-da-Gama Square are something to behold. After watching in the evening, return to the hotel for supper and an overnight stay.

Morning leaves by car for Periyar. After that, take a boat tour of the Periyar Tiger Reserve to see various wildlife, including tigers, panthers, leopards, bison, spotted deer, barking deer, wild boar, herds of wild elephants, and other birds. Return to the hotel to spend the night.

Morning leave by surface for Madurai. Visit the 16th-century Thirumalai Nayak Palace in the afternoon. Visit the largest Meenakshi temple afterward; it has two main shrines, one to the goddess Parvati (Meenakshi) and the other to Shiva (Sunereshwara). Heavy gold plates are used to cover the doms of both sanctuaries. You can also visit the 1,000-pillar hall constructed by the Nayakas in the 16th century out of solid granite stones. Return to the hotel to spend the night.

Drive from Madurai to Trichy in the morning, arrive, and check into the hotel. Visit Srirangam Vishnu Temple in the afternoon. It features 21 gopurams (towers), one of which is the highest in India at 73 metres. After that, climb the 344 steps to the top of Rock Fort, 83 metres above the ground, and home to Vinayaka Temple. Return to your hotel to spend the night.

Morning sightseeing in Tanjore visiting starts with a Brihadeeswarar Temple. The Brihadeeswarar Shiva Temple in Tanjore was constructed between 985 and 1010 AD by King Raja Rajan. As is customary in South Indian temples, this one is built like a parabola and rises 65 metres above the ground. A masterful Chola period architect designed this temple. After that, observe the bronze statues from the 9th to the 16th centuries at the Raja Rajan art gallery.

After full day sightseeing at Tanjore, you will come back to the hotel at Trichy for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, your transfer is booked by car for Chennai. Depending upon the time of departure of the flight, a half day sightseeing tour can be scheduled as per the options provided by the guests.
