Itinerary

Upon your arrival in Chengdu, our tour representative will meet and greet your arrival. Soon after boarding the pre-assigned tour vehicle, you will be dropped to the hotel where you will stay for the rest of the day. Overnight halt at the hotel in Chengdu. 

After arrival at Lhasa, get assisted by our representative for the transfer and check-in to the hotel. During this transfer the breathtaking view of Yarlung Tsangpo River (also called as Brahmaputra River in India) makes this route the most beautiful view of the day.

The day tour at Lhasa will include the most popular tour attractions like Potala Palace, a World Heritage Site used as the winter palace of the Dalai Lama in bygone time. Later in the day come back to the hotel for overnight stay. 

On the second day tour of Lhasa, the guided escorting to the Drepung and Sera Monastery will remain the main attraction. Situated on the Gambo Utse Mountain, the Drepung Monastery was one of the largest monasteries in the world with the capacity of housing more than 7700 monks at a time. 

The Sera monastery is the next attraction which derived its name due to the scenic backdrop of the growth of wild roses on the hill situated behind the monastery. After the guided tour, come back to the hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.

After a delicious breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive for Shigatse. On the way, driving through the Gampala Pass offers a stunning and picturesque view of Yamdrok-Tso Lake. Being surrounded with snow-capped mountains, it looks marvelous with their reflection in the  shimmering clean water of the lake.

Capturing the beauty of Simila Mountain Pass and Karola Glacier on the way, you will arrive at the third largest  city of Tibet- Gyantse. The main attractions in this city are Gyantse Fortress, Pelkor Monastery and Gyantse Kumbum.

After checking out from Shigatse, drive towards Lhatse enjoying scenic beauty all around. After a lunch break in this small town, proceed towards the base camp that we will be setting up in the lap of Everest. 

On the way to the base camp, enjoy the panoramic beauty of this valley while passing through the Tshola and Gyatso La Pass. Entering the National Park area of Everest opens up a completely new landscape where catching the sunset view is the most memorable beauty for the lifetime.

Note: setting up base camp at Everest National PArk depends upon the weather conditions. 

Check out from the base camp and proceed to Rongbuk Monastery where nuns and monks live together making this place one of its kind apart from being the highest one. After arriving at the Gyirong Border, get comfortable at the pre-booked lodging arrangements and stay overnight. 

Today, you will get transported to Nepal via the China Border. Our assisting tour representative will take care of your transfer through the road along with the assistance on various checkpoints. On arriving at the Sino-Nepal Border, our representative at the Nepal Border will take over the tour charge and get you transferred to the pre-booked hotel in Kathmandu.

Start your day by visiting the iconic UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kathmandu Durbar Square. This ancient square is home to several palaces, temples, and courtyards. Explore the intricately carved wooden architecture of the old royal palace, Hanuman Dhoka, and admire the unique sculptures at the Taleju Temple and Kumari Ghar (the house of the Living Goddess).

From Durbar Square, head to Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, located on a hilltop. Enjoy panoramic views of the city as you ascend the stairs to the stupa. Explore the various shrines, prayer wheels, and colorful Tibetan prayer flags.
